# Data-dictionary round trip

Dictionary in, governed model, upload-ready dictionary back out.

Import your data dictionary, refine the governed model, then generate coremodels_data_dictionary.csv back out: an upload-ready dictionary with the full 18-column REDCap header, governed taxonomies as dropdowns with minted codes, NotNull as Required Field = y, and IR kinds as validation types (integer, number, date_ymd, yesno). Cross-form references have no REDCap slot and are carried as text with declared lossiness.
