Seed a project from the schema you already have (warehouse DDL, JSON Schema, or an existing Ossie/OSI document), refine datasets, dimensions, and meanings in the governed model, then export an Apache Ossie (formerly OSI) semantic model as JSON, osi-json, the form dbt ingests. The same coder also emits YAML (osi) and decodes both, so the semantic layer, in the metrics sense, stops being tool-specific: no single engine's dialect is privileged as the truth.
