# Source Onboarding Review

Govern a new source at the door, before its first sync.

Airbyte is the point where schemas ENTER the organization. Import the discover-schema catalog of a source you are about to connect, and the recorded audit reviews its ingestion hygiene: streams without a primary key (stream-no-primary-key, dedup-dependent sync modes break silently), incremental-capable streams with no cursor configured (no-cursor-field), and object/array/untyped properties that would enter the warehouse ungoverned (untyped-fields). Declared enums become managed Taxonomies, so allowed values are governed from day one.
